RCT, Inc. recognizes the dedication of our Drivers and our Office Staff and appreciates the effort put forth by everyone to win these awards. It is a joint effort by all who work for us, and RCT cordially accepts these awards on behalf of everyone in our system who contributes to our success everyday.

On September 11, 2009, our company received the 1st place Great West Safety Award for our outstanding achievement in highway safety in 2008 for a company running 2,500,001 miles and over. This was awarded in cooperation with the American Trucking Association and presented by the Montana Motor Carriers Association (MMCA) and the insurance company, Great West Casualty Company.




On September 26, 2007, our company received the 2nd place Great West Safety Award for our outstanding achievement in highway safety in 2006 for a company running 2,500,001 miles and over. This was awarded in cooperation with the American Trucking Association and presented by the MMCA and the insurance company, Great West Casualty Company.




In 2004, Raymond Corcoran Trucking, Inc. received the Great West Safety Award for our outstanding achievement in highway safety for a company running 2,500,001 miles and over. This was awarded in cooperation with the American Trucking Association, and presented by the MMCA and our insurance company, Great West Casualty Company.




In 2003, Raymond Corcoran Trucking, Inc. was awarded “The Grand Trophy Award,” which was presented by the Montana Motor Carriers Association (MMCA) and reviewed by the Federal Department of Transportation. The Grand Trophy Award is presented to a company who not only runs accident free miles, but also exemplifies good safety scores and is actively involved with different safety programs within the community. We are active members of the MMCA:  the owner is a board member; the Safety Director, a safety council member. RCT is currently involved with the Highway Watch program, the Share the Road program for high school driver education classes, and we also assist with the Truck Rodeo and the Driver Appreciation Day.




The company also received the Great West Safety Award for our outstanding achievement in highway safety in 2003 for a company running 2,500,001 miles and over. This was awarded in cooperation with the American Trucking Association, and presented by the MMCA and ourinsurance company, Great West Casualty Company.




In 2003, Sharon Ruth was awarded the Safety Supervisor of the Year for the Rocky Mountain Region which includes the Motor Carrier Associations for the states of Montana, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, and Colorado. Each state's Safety Supervisors compete annually for this award. To our knowledge, Sharon is the first Safety Director from the state of Montana to win the Regional Award. Sharon received the Montana Outstanding Safety Director Award for her outstanding Safety involvement and leadership during 2002 by the MMCA, which made her eligible to win the award for Safety Supervisor of the Year for the Rocky Mountain Region.




In 1999, in cooperation with the American Trucking Association, and the Safety Management Council, the MMCA presented Brenda Markuson with the Montana Director of Safety Award because of an outstanding safety record in our state. In addition, Northland Insurance Companies presented Brenda with an award for being recognized as Montana’s Safety Director of the Year.




In 1996, in cooperation with the American Trucking Association and the Safety Management Council, Raymond Corcoran Trucking, Inc. was presented with the 1st Place Safety Award for a company running between 2,500,000 – 5,000,000 miles in the state of Montana by the Montana Motor Carriers Association.
